CBN has Issued an Operational Guidelines for Open Banking in Nigeria

The Central Bank of Nigeria has issued a guidelines on Open Banking in Nigeria, which will foster the sharing of customer permissioned data between banks and third party firms to enable the building of customer focused products and services, in a statement dated March 17th 2023.

It also aimed at enhancing efficiency, competition and access to Financial Services in Nigeria and all stake holders are to strictly comply with the guidelines and other regulations.
