Arsenal are not done with their summer transfer business just yet. After already sealing four key signings and reaching an agreement to bring in Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP, the Gunners are eyeing one more offensive addition to their squad.

Gyokeres, whose transfer saga has finally concluded, will cost Arsenal around £63.4 million including add-ons. He is expected to undergo a medical in Singapore before joining the team’s pre-season tour.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are now seriously considering bringing in another attacking player before the transfer window closes. Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze is high on the shortlist. Talks have already been held with the player’s representatives, though a formal offer to Palace has not yet been made.

Eze, who was previously part of Arsenal’s academy setup before being released at age 13, had an outstanding season with Palace. He not only contributed 14 goals and 11 assists in the Premier League but also netted the winner in the FA Cup final against Manchester City, helping Palace secure their first major trophy.

The England international has reportedly agreed personal terms with Arsenal. However, the deal hinges on whether the club will activate his £68 million release clause, payable in three installments with additional add-ons , or try to negotiate a reduced fee and flexible payment terms.

Arsenal’s ability to fund the deal may depend on player sales. Several squad members including Oleksandr Zinchenko, Reiss Nelson, Fabio Vieira, and goalkeeper Karl Hein are expected to be offloaded, with Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior also possible departures.

Eze’s versatility, operating as an attacking midfielder or from the left, makes him an appealing option for manager Mikel Arteta. His direct style and dribbling ability could add a new layer of creativity and unpredictability to Arsenal’s forward line.

The ball is now in Arsenal’s court as the transfer window ticks down.
