“I’ve No Issue with Women Taking the First Move” — Singer Praiz Reflects “I’ve No Issue with Women Taking the First Move”,  Singer Praiz Reflects

On August 11, 2025, Nigerian R&B star Praiz made a refreshing admission that’s sure to resonate with many: he’s completely fine with women making the first move. In fact, the singer, whose full name is Praise Ugbede Adejo, clearly embraces boldness and mutual confidence over outdated gender norms.

During a recent episode of Hot Takes, Praiz thoughtfully reflected on how people handle rejection. “Not everybody can handle rejection. I’m not even talking about women; some men don’t know how to handle rejection,” he observed. With that, he suggested that some rejections may be a blessing in disguise, perhaps even a form of divine protection. “Maybe it was just God saying, ‘Let me just even save this guy’… I have no issue with a lady moving to me.”

Praiz also noted that romantic interest can often come indirectly, like via a “like” on a photo or subtle attempts to catch a person’s eye. His message was clear: both men and women should take the time to learn how to handle rejection with grace and maturity.
