BBNaija Season 10 Sees Another Double Shake-up: Kayikunmi and Otega Leave the House
In a tense Sunday night eviction on Big Brother Naija Season 10, two housemates, Oghenetega “Otega” Eritomi and Oluwakayikunmi “Kayikunmi” Ajibade, were asked to leave the competition. Their exits were confirmed during the live show, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Otega, a 35-year-old chef, photographer, and developer from Delta State, became the third housemate evicted after Ibifubara and Danboskid had previously left the show. His journey spanned just a few weeks, but he shared plans to pursue his culinary dreams further, including possibly launching a TV programme to showcase Nigeria’s diverse food culture.
Kayikunmi, a 25-year-old banker from Ekiti State, followed as the fourth to leave. He admitted feeling distracted in the opening week but clearly stated that his bond with Isabella wasn’t the reason. Touching on his highly talked-about dynamics with both Thelma and Isabella, he noted: “I was supposed to meet Thelma at first, but I got lucky with Isabella.” Despite the emotional exit, he seemed hopeful about the future and mentioned an interest in exploring acting opportunities.
Voting Stats: A Close Call
The numbers were tight. Ifeyinwa “Ivatar” Okafor, who narrowly escaped elimination, secured 1.36% of viewer votes to save. Behind her were Kayikunmi (1.26%) and Otega (1.22%), placing them at the bottom of the leaderboard for the week.
Week’s Other Highlights
Sabrina had already exited the show earlier due to medical reasons, making Kayikunmi and Otega the third and fourth departures following her exit and those of Danboskid and Ibifubara.
The house now has 24 contestants remaining, all still in the running for the ₦150 million grand prize.
Additionally, Jason Jae was voted ‘Most Influential Housemate of the Week’ by his peers, earning both influence and immunity from eviction.
