Jack Osbourne Fires Back at Roger Waters Over Disparaging Remarks About Ozzy Osbourne
Tensions flared after Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters made dismissive comments about the late Ozzy Osbourne, prompting a direct and emotionally charged response from his son, Jack Osbourne.
Waters’ Controversial Comments
In a recent appearance on The Independent Ink podcast, 81-year-old Roger Waters offered a blunt assessment of Ozzy’s legacy and public image:
He remarked, “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him… he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense.”
Waters added, “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did… I couldn’t care less.”
He further quipped about Ozzy’s infamous bat-biting incident: “I have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do.”
Jack Osbourne’s Fiery Response
Taking to Instagram Stories on September 2, Jack Osbourne, 39, launched a scathing counterattack:
“Hey Roger Waters. F— you. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls, in the press. My father always thought you were a c, thanks for proving him right.”
He also posted the hashtag #f—rogerwaters.
Jack’s response was not just a defense of his father’s legacy, it carried personal conviction, claiming that even Ozzy himself harbored a low opinion of Waters.
