Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin “Falz” Falana has publicly addressed swirling rumors about a supposed secret wedding, clarifying that the images at the center of the speculation were part of a photoshoot, not an actual traditional wedding ceremony.

The conjecture began when Falz shared a set of wedding-themed photos that quickly went viral. Fans and followers speculated he had tied the knot in a private ceremony. In response, Falz took to Instagram to set the record straight and offered a tongue-in-cheek commentary on public perception.

He joked that if and when he does get married, people may not take the news seriously, “a case of the boy who cried wolf.” He continued, “Maybe when I do get married nobody will care.”

He further emphasized that while he appreciates his fans, he is under no obligation to disclose personal milestones. That said, he left room for the possibility that if love moves him enough, he might choose to share his special moment: “It is bold of you to assume that if I’m actually getting married, I will share it.”
