BBNaija Day 39: Mensan Celebrates Task Triumph as Rooboy and Kola Wrestle with Emotions
The drama escalated on Day 39 in the Big Brother Naija house during the highly competitive Haier Thermocool task, stirring deep emotions and fierce confrontations among the housemates.
Mensan on a High
After emerging victorious, Mensan expressed relief and pride, telling Rooboy that being on the winning team felt especially validating after feeling blamed during previous losses. Rooboy responded candidly, admitting his own frustrations when he sensed others weren’t fully committed, though he stopped short of naming anyone.
Kola Breaks Down
The fog of defeat hit Kola hard. Behind closed doors, he confided in Imisi about his “losing streak” and how desperately he longed for a win. Overwhelmed, he succumbed to tears. Imisi comforted him with a hug, and although Kola insisted he was okay, the emotional weight remained evident.
Clashes and Tensions
Leadership tensions flared up again, with Big Soso bluntly referring to Head of House Faith as a “nonsense goat,” signalling disapproval of her leadership choices. Other housemates, including Jason Jae and Kuture, also aired grievances.
Earlier in the day, Faith and Imisi engaged in a heated kerosene-related conflict. Imisi had taken the kerosene without asking the designated guardians Kaybobo or Big Soso, leading both women to hold onto it until Big Brother intervened.
Big Soso later took aim at Sultana, accusing Kola of underestimating her because she’s the house cook. Sultana chimed in, calling Kola “loud but not skilled.” In response, Big Soso reminded them of her academic background, having studied English in the UK, to stress her worth beyond domestic roles.
High-Drama Night
From Kola’s emotional moment to the kerosene showdown and verbal jabs at Faith, Day 39 was nothing short of theatrical, stirring emotions and alliances in unexpected directions.
Who’s Safe from Eviction?
All housemates are at risk of eviction this week, except for:
Faith, the Head of House and Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW),
