Veteran Nollywood Actress Joke Silva Mourns Elder Brother
Renowned Nollywood actress Joke Silva is in mourning following the death of her elder brother, John Olabiyi Silva, who passed away on 29 August 2025 at the age of 72.

“With acceptance of God’s Sovereign will, we announce the call to the glory of my dear brother, John Olabiyi Silva … long John Silva… Bros B… Uncle B…. my easy go lucky brother. Rest in peace. January 22nd 1953, August 29th, 2025.”
