Tracy Explains Why She Turned Down Kuture on BBNaija 10
Former Big Brother Naija season 10 housemate Tracy Ekwe has opened up about her reasons for rejecting a romantic approach from fellow contestant Kuture.
In a post-eviction interview on Classic FM Lagos, Tracy said she admires Kuture as a friend but does not see him as potential romantic partner. “Kuture is my friend. He wanted more but I don’t want more,” she told the interviewer.
Personality Clash
Tracy explained that although she thinks well of Kuture, their personalities clash too much for a romantic relationship. She said, “Because he can’t be my person even though he is amazing. I think we have two different personalities.”
One of her specific issues: Kuture’s tendency to be overly talkative. Tracy described this trait as something she could not overlook, though she also said she had no intention of trying to change him, especially given the reality of the show.
Fans & Housemate Opinions
Tracy noted that people in the house, and fans outside, often like Kuture because of his outgoing, talkative nature. She speculated that if he were quieter, “he would have gone home by now.”
Not Personal, Just Incompatible
She was clear that her rejection was not meant to be an insult; rather, she felt the two are just not compatible. “Our personalities are just not compatible. Besides that, he’s not my type,” she concluded.
