President Tinubu Congratulates 2Baba on Milestone 50th Birthday
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to music legend Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba (formerly 2Face), as he turns 50.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised 2Baba’s many contributions to Nigeria’s entertainment sector, highlighting qualities such as creativity, resilience, and patriotism.
Tinubu noted that for over two decades, 2Baba has moved Nigerians and global audiences alike with his soulful music, inspiring successive generations while carrying the country’s flag with pride. He singled out “African Queen” as an enduring classic that helped elevate the international profile of Nigerian music.
In his message, the President also commended the singer’s use of his platform beyond entertainment, for promoting unity, peace, and good governance.
Finally, Tinubu wished 2Baba many more years filled with joy, fulfilment, and good health.
