“Nigerian singer Shallipopi is urging men to steer clear of romantic relationships and marriage if financial stability is a priority. He described both as “financial traps” and warned particularly those from modest backgrounds of the potential burdens.

He suggested that instead of pursuing romantic entanglements, young men should aim to live within their means and even consider celibacy as a safer option, financially and personally.
