BBNaija: Dede Rejects Claims of Regional Bias, Says Imisi Earned Her Win
Precious Ashiogwu “Dede,” a finalist in Big Brother Naija Season 10, has pushed back against suggestions that she lost because of regional favoritism. She insists that the winner, Imisioluwa Opeyemi Ayanwale (Imisi), won through merit and real fan support.
Dede, who finished as the first runner-up in the show’s finale on October 4, 2025, was responding to remarks from the media aide of the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success. The aide had implied that regional politics had influenced the outcome.
Speaking at the prize presentation event held at MultiChoice Nigeria’s office in Ilupeju, Lagos, Dede emphasized that voting was based on love and support, not where someone came from. “She got the highest votes, and she won. So, she deserves it,” she said.
When asked about her future after the show, she expressed openness to new opportunities, especially in acting and other creative fields.
She also confirmed that she planned to reconnect with her family now that the show was over.
