Miguel Ángel Russo Has Died
Real Madrid C. F., along with its president and Board of Directors, is deeply saddened to announce the death of Miguel Ángel Russo, who was serving as coach of Boca Juniors.
We extend our heartfelt condolences and support to his family, his colleagues, Boca Juniors and its fans, as well as to all the clubs he has been affiliated with and all those close to him.
Russo’s coaching career spanned nearly four decades, during which he led numerous clubs both in Argentina and internationally.
Before his transition into coaching, his playing career was devoted entirely to one club: Estudiantes de La Plata.
Miguel Ángel Russo passed away at the age of 69. May he rest in peace.
