Davido Announces ‘5IVE’ Tour to Return Home, Kicks Off in Nigeria

Grammy-nominated Afrobeats superstar Davido has announced the Nigerian leg of his much-anticipated “5IVE Tour”, signaling a homecoming celebration for both his fans and his musical roots.

Following a successful North American run, Davido took to social media to express his excitement about bringing his tour back to Nigeria, saying he wants to bring the global energy he’s been channeling “home.”

He described the tour as “for the culture,” adding that this leg is deeply personal: “This one’s for US.”

The 5IVE Tour, Nigeria is aligned with his fifth studio album, 5IVE, released in April 2025 and featuring collaborations with artists such as Odumodublvck, Becky G, and Shenseea.

The local tour will launch on October 26 in Akwa Ibom, then move to Adamawa on October 29, Enugu on November 1, Ibadan on November 9, and will culminate with a grand finale in Lagos on December 25.

Davido’s international tour has already seen major highlights, including a show at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium alongside 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige, as well as sold-out dates across North America with support from Nigerian artists Victony and Morravey.

As the 5IVE Tour, Nigeria approaches, fans can expect energetic performances that blend Davido’s biggest hits with selections from his latest album, tailored to the character of each city.
