Davido Brings “5ive Tour” to Abuja’s Eagle Square
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido, real name David Adeleke, has announced the addition of the Federal Capital Territory to his national concert tour, naming December 14 2025 as the date for the Abuja stop at Eagle Square.
Tour Expansion
Originally built to cover several Nigerian cities in support of his fifth studio album 5ive (released in April 2025), the “5ive Tour” will now include Abuja, joining earlier stops such as Uyo and others.
Davido formally confirmed the Abuja date in a social-media post, saying: “You asked for it… now it’s official! Abuja, Dec 14th. The #5iveAliveTour finally lands in the capital.”
Significance & Context
Davido chose the Nigerian leg of the tour to be a “homecoming”, bringing back the production scale of his global shows and reaffirming his connection to Nigerian audiences.
The Abuja show completes the tour’s geographic spread, offering fans across different regions an opportunity to attend.
The selection of Eagle Square signals the use of a high-profile venue in the nation’s capital to elevate the event’s visibility.
What to Expect
Industry watchers say the tour is expected to feature world-class production values, surprise guest appearances, and performances of the album’s hit singles, delivering Davido’s signature high-energy stage presence.
