Comedienne Anita Asuoha (aka Warri Pikin) Issues Firm Warning To Those Pressing Her On Due Date
Popular Nigerian comedienne Anita Asuoha, also known as Warri Pikin, has publicly admonished anyone who repeatedly asks her about when she will be giving birth.
In a recent Instagram video, the expectant mother of three playfully slapped her daughter after the young one asked: “When are you giving birth?” Following the clip, Warri Pikin posted a direct message:
“When people can’t stop asking you, ‘When are you giving birth?’ This na general warning to all of una Wey dey always ask me Real warri pikin ‘When you dey born nau’? You go collect wetin nor good.”
Her warning comes after she announced that she is expecting her third child with her husband earlier this year.
She made it clear that she finds repeated inquiries into her delivery date intrusive, and suggested that those continuing to ask may face consequences (albeit said lightly and humorously) if they persist.
The incident highlights a broader issue of how public figures deal with personal questions about their private lives, especially regarding pregnancy and childbirth, and the boundary lines between public interest and personal space.
