Gunmen Kidnap Students and Teachers in Niger State School Raid
Armed attackers reportedly abducted students and staff from a Catholic school in Niger State, heightening concerns about deteriorating school security in the region.
According to TVC News, the incident occurred at St. Mary’s School in the Papiri community of Agwara Local Government Area.
While the exact number of abducted pupils and teachers remains unclear, sources say a “significant number” were taken.
Local authorities confirmed that security forces have since been deployed to investigate the abduction.
