Fulani Herdsman Take over Yoruba Forests as Tinubu Thugs Turn Blind Eye- Afenifere Leader

According to Ayo Adebanjo, Leader of Afenifere, he said as a member of the Yoruba community, it pains him to see how their forests are being occupied by Fulani herdsmen, leading to the loss of lives and property.

What is more distressing is the lack of concern from Bola Tinubu and his cohorts, who are known to be vocal when it comes to issues affecting the Yoruba nation.

It is appalling that while our people are being killed and our lands taken over, Tinubu and his thugs remain silent.

They have failed to speak up against the invasion of our forests by these herdsmen who have been wreaking havoc on our people. It is hard to fathom why they would turn a blind eye to this menace that threatens the peace and security of our people.

To make matters worse, the same Tinubu and his thugs have been accusing the Igbos who live peacefully in Lagos of trying to take over the state. This accusation is baseless and only serves to promote tribalism and division.

The Igbos have lived in Lagos for generations and have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the state. They pay their taxes and are law-abiding citizens. It is therefore unfair to accuse them of trying to take over Lagos.

It is evident that Tinubu and his thugs are more interested in what Lagos brings to their pockets than the welfare of the Yoruba nation. They have failed to address the pressing issues affecting our people and have resorted to playing politics with sensitive issues.

He further stated that as the leader of Afenifere, a group that seeks to promote the welfare of the Yoruba people, I call on Tinubu and his thugs to rise up to the occasion and address the challenges facing our people.
