Job Application: Operations Manager/HR


Job Type: Full Time (On-site) | Job Location: Barnawa, Kaduna | Gross Salary: ₦100,000.00

Arewatees Limited is looking to hire an Operations Manager/HR. The Operations Manager/HR will manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures for the Company. Ensure safe and efficient operations. Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues. Enhance the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and looks for opportunities to expand systems. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and guidance to Founder/Creative Director on all Administrative, Operations, Finance and Human Resource matters
  • Assist the Founder to develop organisational policies
  • Establish procedures in line with organisational goals and policies
  • Develop and implement company strategies
  • Oversee daily operations
  • Regularly assess business functions to facilitate and optimise business processes
  • Oversee and manage budget activities and expenditure
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Analyse financial statements and sales reports
  • Review and approve purchases and expenditure
  • Organise and maintain records of all cash flows in form of source documents (invoices, receipts and bank statements), and company documents
  • Responsible for talent sourcing, employee welfare, appraisal, training and development, and remuneration (payroll management)
  • Manage the collation and analysis of Customer data
  • Provide office support and manage activities related to the business (setting up meetings, scheduling appointments, official correspondence, sorting documents etc.)
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints

Job Requirements:

  • First degree (BSc/HND) in business, finance, management or another related field
  • Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Leadership ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Master’s Degree in relevant field is an added advantage

Preferred:

  • Female for gender balance
  • Not more than 35 years of age
