The Federal Road Safety Corps is a paramilitary organization and the lead agency in road traffic administration and safety management in Nigeria. The Corps is desirous of recruiting young, vibrant, intelligent, and patriotic individuals in the quest to advance its world-class status. Consequently, applications are invited from qualified candidates for employment in the following positions:
CATEGORIES
- First Category
Officer Cadre: Assistant Route Commander (CONPASS 08)
Qualification: Applicants must possess a first degree/HND from recognized institutions of learning and NYSC discharge certificate/exemption certificate.
- Second Category
Marshal Inspectorate (MI) Cadre
a. Marshal Inspector I (CONPASS 08)
Qualifications: Double qualifications RN & RM, Accident & Emergency Nurses, Pediatric Nurses, Anesthetic Nurses, Orthopedic Nurses, certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital, Radiographers from recognized institutions.
b. Marshal Inspector II (CONPASS 07)
Qualifications: Applicants must possess the following from recognized institutions: Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM).
c. Marshal Inspector III (CONPASS 06)
Qualifications: Applicants must possess the following from recognized institutions: National Diploma (ND), Senior Community Health Extension Workers Certificate (CHEW), Medical Laboratory Technicians, Pharmacy Technicians, Dental Technicians.

Road Marshal Assistant Cadre
a. Road Marshal Assistant II (CONPASS 04)
Qualifications: Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits in SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), which must include English Language and Mathematics.
b. Road Marshal Assistant III (CONPASS 03)
Qualifications: Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits in SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), which must include English Language and Mathematics.
c. Artisans and Tradesmen
Artisans and Tradesmen may apply under this category. Those applying for the posts of computer operators, mechanics, electricians, instrumentalists, tailors, plumbers, etc. must possess a minimum of 4 passes in SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO, NABTEB).
d. Drivers and Riders
i. Drivers and Riders MUST have an appropriate class of valid National Driver’s License.
ii. Trade Test and or other professional certificates.
iii. Attempted SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application is online through https://www.recruitment.frsc.gov.ng: Shortlisted applicants will be required to come along with a printout of the form for screening.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

REQUIREMENTS
a. Computer Literacy and possession of Valid Driver’s License shall be an added advantage for all cadres.
b. Any certificate or qualification not declared or tendered and accepted at the point of recruitment cannot be subsequently presented for career progression in the Corps.
c. Applicants must be Nigerians by birth.
d. Applicants must be medically fit and must produce a certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
e. Applicants must not be less than 18 years or more than 30 years old in 2023 (35 years will be considered for medical and 35 years for drivers).
f. Height not less than 1.68 meters for male and 1.64 meters for female.
g. All applicants must be single.
h. Medical and and Allied professional must possess current practicing licenses, while lawyers must have been called to Bar.
i. Male applicants must have a fully expanded chest measurement of not less than 0.87 meters.
j. Applicants must be free from any form of financial embarrassment, be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.
k. Applicants must not have Tattoo on any part of their body.
l. Applicants must use their personal e-mail address and phone numbers when submitting application online.
OTHER CONDITIONS
- Prospective candidates who are pregnant need not to apply.
