Marking the close of his tenure with YSL, the title cleverly underscores that this project closes the “Wun” chapter of his career.

Fans first got wind of the album when Gunna began teasing it through social media this summer. An October 2024 snippet introduced “Him All Along” as the first single, followed by June 2025’s defiant “Won’t Stop,” produced by Turbo.

The official reveal, including cover art, release date, and pre-order availability, came on August 4, complete with surreal visuals from Devon DeJardin, who depicted Gunna in “sculptural” form symbolizing both inner turmoil and relentless drive.

The album spans 25 tracks and features high-profile collaborations with Offset, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Asake, and Nechie

Its cover art is dense with symbolism: DeJardin’s sculptural portrayal aims to reflect Gunna’s complex emotional landscape, peace, persistence, pent-up rage, and a “chip on the shoulder” attitude.

Listeners responded with enthusiasm as the album finally hit streaming services on Friday, August 8. Multiple outlets highlighted that it continues Gunna’s streak of releasing solo albums every year for the past four years.
