But for the first time since its launch during Season 6 in 2021, the beloved companion show was unexpectedly halted. The reason? Makinwa has joyfully revealed she’s expecting her first child, and her pregnancy understandably paused production.
In a heartfelt Instagram video, Toke unveiled her baby bump and shared an emotional message describing this new journey as “the biggest project of my life, the highest calling ever!” She continued, reflecting on the prophecy she claimed she made at the beginning of 2025 and thanking God for this blessing: “You opened this door that nobody can shut… You make all things beautiful in your time… My heart is over the moon!”
As of now, it’s still unclear whether she’ll return to host Season 11 of the show. Interestingly, this marks only the second time “The Buzz” hasn’t aired during a BBNaija season—the first break happened in Season 8.
