Beloved TikTok Comedian Sanku Tragically Dies in Car Crash in Oyo
Renowned Nigerian TikTok comedian Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known online as Mr Sanku Comedy, has died in a tragic car accident along the Ogbomoso, Oyo Road in Ibadan. The fatal crash occurred in the early hours of Monday, September 1, 2025. Eyewitness accounts indicate that his vehicle veered off the road and somersaulted. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Sanku was later pronounced dead, while fellow comedian Wakil sustained injuries.
Sanku, whose comedic skits, rich in local humour and cultural nuance, amassed him a strong following since he began posting in 2021, made a striking poignant skit just 25 days before his passing.
