On Day 46 of Big Brother Naija Season 10 (Soft Life theme), housemates shared candid reflections in the Diary Room as the fallout from recent evictions and surprise exits hits home. Friendships, grief, and shifting alliances took center stage.
Highlights from the Diary Room
Faith said that Joanna’s exit has left a void. He described Joanna not just as a housemate, but someone who balanced him and taught him to loosen up. During his Head of House week, he said Joanna’s influence helped him make decisions, though he remains unsure how “successful” his leadership really was.
He also admitted that in the recent HoH Challenger, he deliberately avoided trying to win. Instead, he nominated strong contenders (Bright Morgan, Jason Jae, and Thelma Lawson) believing that by losing, the house might benefit more.
Mide expressed how much she misses several evicted housemates, Doris, Dede, Joanna, and Rooboy, with Dede having hurt her the most emotionally, given their friendship from the start. She also shared a lighter grievance: she still won’t eat Joanna’s eggs, hoping maybe one day Joanna will return.
Jason Jae said he is “hanging in there,” but has been shaken by the recent evictions and losing close allies in quick succession. He too would bring Rooboy back into the house if given the choice, even though Rooboy is not among his closest pals.
Zita made it known she would bring back Danboskid without hesitation, and even said she’d replace Sultana with him if she could. Interestingly, Sultana also picked Danboskid as her choice for return.
Zita, embracing the “Soft Life” week‐theme, requested more amenities to ease tension, an air fryer, an escape room, and said that last night’s “garden scream session” with Faith and Tracy was helpful in decompressing.
Denari revealed he misses Doris very deeply. More than just a friend, Denari said Doris was someone he could truly be himself with. Her absence still weighs on him, especially because there were plans they never got to realise together in the house.
Sultana explained her top pick: Danboskid. She feels he hasn’t yet had enough time to show all of who he is. Her second choice was Rooboy, whom she described as fun, full of life, with hidden depth. Sultana also shared that she now views Tracy differently, more critically, as someone who sometimes turns private matters public.
