Estêvão Receives Chelsea Squad Number, but Says Cole Palmer Is Impossible to Understand
Brazilian winger Estêvão Willian, recently confirmed as a Chelsea player, has been assigned squad number 41, continuing the number he wore at Palmeiras.
Speaking in his first official interview since the announcement, the 18-year-old revealed a deliciously humorous language barrier moment: when Cole Palmer, along with teammates Dário Essugo and Liam Delap, came over to chat after Chelsea faced Palmeiras in the Club World Cup, Estêvão admitted:
“I didn’t understand anything Palmer said, actually!”
