Exciting News: Nigeria Air Plane Set to Arrive, Operations to Begin Today

Nigeria Air’s plane is set to arrive in the country on Friday today, marking a significant milestone before the commencement of operations. Hadi Sirika, the Minister of Aviation, confirmed this exciting news during an exclusive interview with Channels Television. He assured that the aircraft will proudly showcase Nigeria’s colors, fulfilling the administration’s promises in the aviation sector.

While the aerotropolis, the airport city, remains a work in progress with 60% completion, Sirika emphasized that the groundwork has been finished. The remaining tasks for the airport city will be undertaken by the next administration.

During an aviation stakeholder’s forum in Abuja back in March, Sirika stated that Nigeria Air would begin full operations before the end of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. In response to inquiries regarding the exact commencement date, the minister confidently declared, “We will take flight before May 29th, before the end of this administration.”

Furthermore, Sirika proudly highlighted the significant accomplishments of the Federal Government in the aviation sector, as they have successfully achieved over 90% of the aviation sector road map. Their dedication ensures that the aviation sector is left in a better state than when they assumed responsibility.
