Well-loved gospel artists Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine have announced their departures from the celebrated worship collective, Maverick City Music.

In a heartfelt message, Chandler Moore described the past year as one of healing and deep reflection. He called his decision bittersweet, he acknowledged how much Maverick meant to him, saying walking away felt like saying goodbye to “your own kid.”

He also hinted at ongoing legal and business matters behind the scenes, but stated his focus is now on what lies ahead.

Naomi Raine similarly shared that after much prayer and consideration, she felt called to step into a new chapter solo. She expressed gratitude for how being part of Maverick transformed her life and affirmed her intention to keep leading worship, even now independently.

Their exits mark a significant shift for Maverick City Music, both artists were founding members and central voices in the collective’s identity and sound.
