Harry Styles Finishes Berlin Marathon in Under Three Hours
Pop superstar Harry Styles stunned spectators by completing the Berlin Marathon in 2 hours, 59 minutes, and 13 seconds, breaking the three-hour barrier, a milestone many amateur runners aim for.
Under the Radar Performance
Styles competed using the pseudonym Sted Sarandos, wearing a headband and sunglasses, helping him keep a low profile among the approximately 55,000 to 80,000 participants.
According to the official BMW Berlin Marathon tracking app, he ran the first half in about 1:29:08 and the second half in 1:30:06—demonstrating an impressively consistent pace.
Context & Reactions
Berlin is known for its flat, fast course, which has produced numerous record times in marathon history.
Styles was photographed at the finish line alongside Paralympic gold-medalist Richard Whitehead, who also posted a photo of them together on social media.
This marathon marks his latest long-distance running achievement; earlier in 2025, Styles also ran the Tokyo Marathon.
