Nigerian content creator and live streamer Habeeb Hamzat, known online as Peller, is asking for some grace amid mounting criticism. At just 20 years old, he wants the world to remember that he’s still growing, professionally and personally.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Peller expressed frustration with how a few seconds of video are used to define his entire persona. He pointed out that while he often streams for nearly six hours full of energy and entertainment, critics tend to magnify 30-second clips of his slip-ups.

“I streamed almost 6 hours, but a 30-second clip with good intention is being pushed to paint me wrongly. This happens often, negative clips get picked while the hours of work and joy are ignored.”

Honest and raw, Peller recognized the emotional toll it takes on someone so young:

“I’m just 20, still figuring life out, trying to provide for myself and my family. Sometimes it feels like people don’t care if I break down or even lose myself in the process.”

Despite the backlash, he made it clear that he refuses to be defined by public negativity:

“I’ve never seen a 20-year-old dragged, put down, and torn apart like I am… but every single time, I rise again.”

Why This Resonates

Youth & Vulnerability: At 20, Peller is navigating the pressures of early adulthood in the unforgiving spotlight of social media.

Selective Criticism: He highlights a common issue, minute mistakes amplified while the broader positive efforts are overlooked.

Resilience: Even under pressure, he emphasizes persistence, continuing to show up and grow despite criticism.
