New Feature Alert: Custom Team Badges for 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League
Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers will soon have a unique way to personalize their teams, thanks to an exciting partnership with Adobe. This upcoming season will allow users to design and upload their own bespoke team badges directly within the FPL platform.
FPL is integrating Adobe Express and its Firefly generative AI into the team creation process. Managers will be prompted, either immediately or later, to begin crafting a badge using descriptive prompts. A gallery of community submissions will offer inspiration, revealing behind‑the‑scenes prompts and examples to help kickstart creativity.
After logging into or creating an Adobe account, users receive four AI‑generated badge options. They can tweak the prompts and generate new iterations until satisfied. An “Edit” option allows fine‑tuning—like background removal and colour or brightness adjustments—before final submission for moderation.
Tips for Designers
To ensure badges look bold and digital‑logo friendly, Adobe recommends the following settings in Express:
Switch Content type to Graphic
Under Styles → Theme, choose Vector look
Under Styles → Techniques, select Bold lines
These settings help produce crisp, clean, and visually striking badges. Additional edits like brightness and saturation tweaks are also supported via intuitive tools.
Moderation Guidelines & Approval Process.
Every badge undergoes internal review to ensure compliance with FPL terms. Submissions that breach guidelines, especially if repeated or offensive—may lead to account suspension. Typically, approvals take up to 24 hours, though peak periods might extend wait times. While one badge is in moderation, another cannot be submitted. Once approved, managers are notified by email, and their badge appears on their FPL profile and team page. At any time, users can refine their prompt or design from scratch and start a new badge cycle
