Popular Nigerian singer Qudus Fakoya Olatunji, known as Qdot, was the victim of a frightening armed robbery in his Lagos home in the early hours of Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Details of the Incident

The attack occurred around 2:30 a.m. when a group of armed men broke into his residence.

The robbers made off with several electronic devices including Qdot’s phones and laptops.

They also reportedly accessed his bank accounts, transferring funds without his authorisation.

Additionally, the attackers gained control of his social media accounts, prompting concerns about potential misuse of his identity online.

Response and Warning to the Public

Qdot’s talent manager, Dami Adenuga, confirmed the incident in a post on X (formerly Twitter), warning the public to ignore suspicious messages or financial requests that may appear to come from the singer’s compromised accounts.

As at the latest reports, the Lagos State Police Command has not released an official statement on the case.

Qdot, aged 35, is well known for mixing Fuji and Afrobeats in his music, with popular songs like Alomo Meta, Gbese, and Jegele.
