Nollywood Star Regina Daniels Accused of Drug Introduction and Same-Sex Relations by Co-Wife of Ned Nwoko
A public feud has erupted within the household of Senator Ned Nwoko after his fifth wife, Laila Charani, hit back at fellow wife Regina Daniels with serious accusations.
In an Instagram post, Charani claimed that Daniels introduced her to illicit drugs six years ago, an act she says nearly ended her marriage. “You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs 6 years ago and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path,” she wrote.
Charani added that Daniels allegedly supplied drugs not only to her but also to nannies, domestic workers and even Daniels’ younger sister, “infesting everyone with your virus”.
Additionally, she alleged that Daniels “sleeps with every single girl around you,” accusing the actress of engaging in same-sex relationships within the household environment.
Charani also denied an earlier claim by Daniels that she (Daniels) provided financial support to Charani. She challenged Daniels to make their bank records public, citing that she is already satisfied with Nwoko’s provision for her and her children.
Meanwhile, Senator Nwoko has previously claimed that the origin of the marital crisis with Regina Daniels lies in her ongoing battle with drug and alcohol addiction. He said she “must continue her rehabilitation programme… or I fear for her life and safety.”
At the time of reporting, Regina Daniels has not publicly commented on the new allegations made by Charani.
