Osun Poly Alumni Launch N965m Plan to Build 1,500‑Seat Amphitheatre
The Alumni Association of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (OSPOLY) has revealed plans to construct a state-of-the-art 1,500-capacity amphitheatre, a key part of a broader N965 million development project for the institution.
During a handover ceremony, the school’s management officially transferred the site for the proposed lecture theatre to the alumni association.
The Rector of OSPOLY, Alhaji Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, expressed strong support for the project, lauding the alumni for their commitment to the school’s infrastructure.
The alumni president, Alhaji Yakub Akeem Adebayo, called on graduates to rally around the initiative, noting that this effort reflects both a physical and intellectual reconnection with their alma mater.
The amphitheatre is envisioned to significantly enhance campus facilities, providing a modern venue for lectures, conferences, and large-scale events.
This project is part of OSPOLY’s broader strategy to deepen alumni‑institution partnerships and drive long-term development.
