Nigerian politician Senator Ned Nwoko has released a private WhatsApp message he sent to his estranged wife, Nollywood star Regina Daniels, as part of the increasingly public dispute surrounding their marriage. The message, dated October 17, 2025, was shared by the senator’s communications team as a way to provide background on the issues that allegedly led to the breakdown of their relationship.
In the statement accompanying the released message, Nwoko’s team said the October correspondence was meant to highlight longstanding concerns about Daniels’ lifestyle, alleged substance abuse and the effect on the family’s wellbeing—matters they insist were raised before public allegations and legal actions began.
