Sir David Beckham Celebrates Knighthood with Champagne‑Fueled Bash alongside Old Friends

Newly‑titled Sir David Beckham marked his knighthood with a lavish celebration on Saturday night, surrounded by long‑time friends and family in the English countryside.

Beckham, who earlier this week was formally honoured by King Charles III for his services to sport and charity, hosted a party at a private pub in the Cotswolds, booking out the venue for approximately 30 guests including former teammate and pundit Gary Neville and film‑maker Guy Ritchie. Guests enjoyed oysters, barbecued lamb, roast potatoes, and bottles of rosé wine priced at about £55 each, along with beer, cocktails and espresso martinis.

A highlight of the evening came when Beckham’s son Cruz Beckham performed a specially written song referencing his father’s knighthood and the monarch’s role in the accolade. After dinner, the gathering spilled into the main area of the pub where music from Oasis and The Rolling Stones filled the air, and attendees sang along as Sir David joined in dancing. Locals were reportedly surprised to find the legendary footballer and his entourage among them, giving the night a New Year’s‑Eve-like atmosphere.

Interestingly, Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, was not in attendance. The reason for his absence was not discussed publicly.

This celebration comes on the heels of Beckham’s formal knighting at Windsor Castle on November 4, 2025, where he described the honour as “without doubt my proudest moment”.
