Former senator and deputy governorship candidate on the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Uche Ekwunife, has extended her congratulations to incumbent Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his recent re-election.
In a statement released following the election result, Ekwunife gave thanks to her supporters, acknowledging the “voices, strength, time and prayers” they invested in the campaign.
She described their collective efforts as “a victory of faith, unity and hope, a victory that no ballot can erase.”
Ekwunife also commended young people across communities and women who “prayed through the nights,” saying their sacrifices proved that politics could be “driven by people and purpose.”
She urged all stakeholders, across party lines, to prioritise peace and unity in the interest of Anambra State, adding: “When Anambra succeeds, we all succeed.”
Finally, she conveyed her best wishes to Soludo for success in his second term in office, stressing the importance of collaboration for building a more prosperous state.
