Having recently completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme—a milestone often celebrated by Nigerian graduates, Shina’s untimely death comes as a devastating blow to his family.

Biola Adebayo shared her sorrow on Instagram, describing the tragedy as “devastating and heartbreaking,” and prayed for comfort for “mummy Peju Ogunmola”.
Femi Adebayo offered a deeply emotional tribute:
