Controversial Bill Proposed in Israel to Criminalize Talk About Jesus

Two Israeli Knesset members have proposed a bill that would criminalize discussion of Jesus, just as Palm Sunday and Easter approach.

According to All Israel News, individuals in Israel who talk about Jesus could face imprisonment if the bill is passed. This proposal has been met with widespread criticism from Christians and human rights activists, who believe that it goes against religious tolerance and is mentally unsound.

Some advocates argue that this bill could further enrage people in Israel who are already protesting the government’s plans to reform the judicial system.

Additionally, the proposed legislation could potentially damage the relationship between the United States and Israel. A social media user expressed disapproval of the Knesset members’ bill, citing the fact that Jesus was born and raised in the holy land.
