Tinubu alleges that PDP and Labour Party are Plotting to Disrupt his Inauguration as Nigeria’s President.

Festus Keyamo, Director, Public Affairs and Minister of State Labour and Employment  has released a statement on behalf of President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, calling out individuals who are calling for the cancellation of the 2023 General Elections and the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President-elect.

 

Keyamo states that these positions are not in accordance with Nigeria’s constitutional provisions or electoral laws, and their implications could negatively affect national security and public order. He also highlights that the President-elect has pledged to be fair to all citizens and will not accord favoritism to those who supported him.

 

Keyamo warns those who are stoking the embers of hate, division, and falsehoods, stating that they should stop as Nigeria is not a lawless country.

 

He further notes that he and the security agencies are aware of those sponsoring violent protests against the President-elect and shall apprehend them and bring them to book. Keyamo emphasizes that Nigeria should come together for the peace of the country, and their continuous determination to dare the government should cease forthwith.
