Broda Shaggi, the renowned Nigerian skit-maker and actor, recently shared the amount he earns monthly from his skits during a podcast interview with media personality, Ehiz Okoeguale, on his show ‘Dada boy’.
The 29-year-old entertainer, who has a massive following of 1.7 million subscribers on YouTube, revealed that he earns over $40,000 per month from his skits on the platform.
During the interview, Shaggi emphasized the importance of three key factors to achieve success as a skit-maker: numbers, consistency, and amount of content created. He noted that being consistent in creating content is crucial for skit-makers, as it leads to more content, more views, and ultimately, more money.
He also highlighted the significance of having a significant number of views, comments, and reach for brands that are willing to partner with skit-makers. According to Shaggi, this is where the money comes in, as brands look for creators with a massive following to work with.
When asked about his monthly earnings from YouTube, Shaggi revealed that he makes more than $40,000 but lower than $80,000, proving that skit-making can be a lucrative venture for those who put in the effort and remain consistent.
