Davido Doubts Credibility of 2023 General Election in Nigeria and Releases New Album “Timeless”

During an interview with Beat 99.9FM in Lagos on Friday,

David Adeleke, also known as Davido, expressed doubt about the credibility of the 2023 general election in Nigeria. The popular Nigerian singer, who had been absent from social media following the death of his son Ifeanyi, stated that he would have been more vocal about the election if he had been online.

He expressed satisfaction with the low turnout of voters and emphasized the importance of the safety of voters. Davido went on to say that he could not hide his opinion that the election was not credible, despite acknowledging the importance of ensuring the safety of everyone involved.

Meanwhile, the Afrobeat star released his much-anticipated 17-track album, “Timeless,” on Friday, which garnered one million streams in just six hours.
