Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has Directed Workers to Protest at all Central Bank of Nigeria Offices Nation-Wide

In a recent development, the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has directed workers to picket all Central Bank of Nigeria offices across the country, starting next week.

The move is in response to the current cash crunch that has been experienced in the country. NLC President, Joe Ajaero, gave the directive during a press briefing at the Labour House in Abuja.

Ajaero emphasized that the directive was necessary because the apex bank had failed to make cash available to Nigerians, despite a one-week ultimatum that had been given to them.

This action highlights the NLC’s commitment to advocating for the rights of Nigerian workers and seeking solutions to the economic challenges currently facing the country.
