Tacha Sets Her Sights on a Guinness World Record in Lagos
Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, a 29-year-old reality TV star, media personality, and makeup artist, is embarking on an ambitious mission: to set a new Guinness World Record for the highest number of cosmetic makeovers done by one person within 24 hours.
As part of her Beauty Festival event, the challenge kicked off at 8 p.m. on October 11 and is scheduled to wrap at 8 p.m. on October 12. Her objective: complete 150 full makeovers within that one-day window.
By the halfway point (12 hours in), Tacha had already completed 115 makeovers, averaging roughly one person every 4 minutes.
At that stage, she had already overtaken the current record of 113 makeovers, held by Indian-origin makeup artist Swapnil Shinde.
With several hours still remaining, all attention is on Tacha, not just to break the record, but to push the benchmark even higher.
