Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed his readiness to engage in a dialogue with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party,
He revealed that Obi was apprehensive of PDP governors. At a press conference on Thursday, Atiku acknowledged that Obi had taken PDP’s votes in the South-East and Southsouth, but stated that a candidate cannot become the President of Nigeria without nationwide support.
Atiku also disclosed that he stayed in the PDP and contested against governors who were seeking to have one of them emerge as the party’s presidential candidate and running mate. He also raised an alarm about some governors who were attempting to alter the election results. #NigeriaDecides
